Not-the-Final Fantasy XII FAQ

Rob is a lot more intelligent in this episode than previous episodes... what gives?!

Most people seem to think of Rob as a moron... and for the most part, he is. But he has moments of intelligence, so we should re-evaluate how we see him. He isn't dumb, he's just... really weird. Of course, he has his dumb moments (Pop a Cap is a good example), but they come and go.

Johny is usually super mellow. Why is he so much more enthusiastic in this episode?

This episode better reflects Johny as he is these days. His boring moods are exaggerated in the animations and I'd like to reflect his spontaneous moods better in future episodes. Plus, he's enthusiastic in episode 2 as well, so this isn't a sudden change of character or anything. It's just rarely seen.

Who is Dan, and how is he related to Johny and Rob?

Dan is the older brother, sorry for not making that more obvious. Mason is Dan's son, effectively making the brothers uncles.

...why does he call you guys jews?

Well, remember how I said Rob's weird? Well, Dan... he's weird too, but in his own way. He likes to say the word jew a lot, nonsensically, and likes to put the word jew in front of people's names. Like instead of saying "Mr. Rob", he'd say "Jew Bob". He also likes to call Rob 'Bob' and is the only person who does so.

Dan's mustache disappears in certain angles. What gives?

...you know, it sure does. It's funny, I never noticed this when making it, and apparently, 120,000 other people didn't either. This wonderful little fact wasn't brought to my attention until well after it had been seen by said amount of people. I usually make at least one mistake per episode, and this is the one for episode 5. I was really hoping I hadn't messed anything up this time, but I did. Oh well. This issue is fixed in the youtube version of episode 5.
