Why does this look worse than the normal episodes?

This is essentially a pilot episode, meaning I didn't even know whether it would work as a series yet or not. It was completed from start to finish in about 10 hours (give or take) because I wanted to release it on 06/06/2006 (the entire reason the cartoon exists, afterall).
